Position – Java/J2EE Developer

Location : Herndon, VA

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT TASKS / DUTIES:   
 Task Description:  

Java Integration Software Developer will be responsible for developing  and integrating  J2EE Application with a search engine using Elastic search.

Develop web applications using EJB, JSP, , JMS, JSON/REST, XML/SOAP, REST, JSF, AngularJS, Javascript, CSS with ElasticSearch .

Analyze the server performance and provide the code fixes to fine tune the existing J2EE application

Duties: 

Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues related to application– 15%

Responsible for install, configure, design, develop Elastic search engine with  a J2EE based application  – 50%

Responsible for configuring  application servers – 35%

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

J2EE Development Experience using AngularJS, JQuerry, Hibernate4  -  5+ years

Database Development Experience including PL/SQL in Oracle and PostgreSQL – 5+ years

Install configure and develop Search engine (Elastic Search)  Index for J2EE application based on JSON– 7+ years

Developing Web Services, REST ATOM Feeds with XML – 5+ years

Developing Pages based on search engine returned data – 7+ years

Knowledge of application servers; WebLogic, JBoss, - 5+ years etc.

Experience with source code repository: SVN, RTC, etc.

Experience with IDE, Sql tools, and build tool –ANT, Maven, JBOSS studio

Linux, Unix and windows OS

 NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

Hands-on experience in working with JSF hibernate full stack development – 3+ years

Deployment scripting using Linux – 3+ years

Ability to Obtain and Maintain MBI
​Legal Resident in the US for last 3+ consecutive years
