Job Title : Lead Project Manager with .Net
Location : Knoxville TN
Duration : 6+ Months contract

This position will interface with Business process leaders and managers as well as both up and down the IS organization.  Business problems are typically unstructured requiring analysis of strategic directions, management's goals, interpreting capabilities of various technical tools and demonstrating the creation of value to the business through deployment of information systems to solve complex problems. Primary technical skill set is ASP.NET and Oracle PL/SQL.  Excel VBA/VSTO, JavaScript, and MS BI toolkit experience a plus.  In addition, candidate should have excellent customer relationship/management skills.  Experience in Finance and/or Commodity Risk Management business areas preferred.

Responsibilities:
Leading the design, development and deployment of small to medium projects accountable for results on assigned system projects.  The incumbent may also participate as a team member of large IS projects.
Managing expectations of customers at the operating levels of the organization, and the line management levels of functional business areas, the BPO and the Global IS Managers.
Working across time, distance, and cultural barriers that exist at 30 sites in 10 or more countries.
Managing expectations of customers within the operating and functional levels of the business, the BPO, and the IS Managers.
Getting work done through remote personnel who do not have direct reporting relationship with the incumbent.
Working within the corporate environment that strives for global common processes and solutions across the enterprise and ensuring the BU requirements are adequately met.
Balancing the work priorities between individual locations and that of the Global BPO driving the project.
Provide expertise in specific solutions areas for sustaining and / or project activities.  Expertise includes functional knowledge of the customers' business and technical knowledge of the systems used to support the business processes. 
Evaluates business problems broadly across the global organization, evaluates solution alternatives including business process changes and information system solutions, and presents alternatives clearly in terms recognized by the Business sponsors and process owners.  Solution alternatives consider various dimensions including cost, value, time to deliver, supportability and overall fit into long term business strategic directions.

Lead the development of project plans including detailed specifications, work effort, project work time-line, deliverables and milestones following approved project methodologies, including the value assessment at the end of the project.
Lead the design, build and deployment of medium to large common applications and/or application enhanceme

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in IS or related discipline,
