LA LLAMA ETERNA 

 

Consejo de los ángeles:  "Hay un fuego en la Naturaleza que nunca se apaga y que ningún frío puede extinguir"

Ese fuego al que se refiere Thoreau en la cita reside en el corazón humano, la fuente de la "virtud", por emplear una de sus palabras favoritas.  La bondad hace surgir el verano aún en el peor de los inviernos.  Ese fuego es una llama eterna, porque representa el aliento del espíritu, la fuerza creadora que mantiene todas las cosas vivas.  Thoreau tiene la inteligencia de no ver en la Naturaleza un adversario, sino un amigo constante; para él, el invierno es un verano "cubierto por una ligera capa", y el sol, una fuerza continua de vida y de luz en los días fríos y en los días cálidos.  Los ángeles nos recuerda que, como el sol, nuestra llama interior – nuestro espíritu – está siempre dispuesto a darnos calor, aún en tiempos de vacío y dolor.  Cuando  nos conectamos con los dones del espíritu – creatividad, pasión, imaginación -, somos capaces de derretir la nieve de la desesperación y descubrir los restos de la vida que no habían muerto, sólo estaban esperando la llegada de la primavera.

 

¿Hasta qué punto estás en contacto con tu espíritu?  ¿Utilizas eficazmente los dones del espíritu en tu vida?  ¿Puedes identificar qué es lo que deprime o mata tu espíritu?  Recuerda que los ángeles siempre están ahí para despertar el fuego interior y avivar la llama que se lleva la tristeza y el miedo, e irradia energía, pasión y acción creativa.

ETERNAL FLAME

 

Angels Advise:   "There is a fire in the Nature that never goes out and that no cold can extinguish"

That fire to which Thoreau refers to in his appointment resides in the human heart, the source of the "virtue", to use one of its favorite words.  Kindness makes still arise the summer in the worse of the winters..  That fire is an eternal flame, because it represents the breath of the  spirit, the creative force that maintains all things alive.  Thoreau has the intelligence of not seeing the Nature as an adversary, but as constant friend; for him, the winter is a summer "covered by a light layer", and the sun, a continuous force of life and light in the cold days and the warm days.  Angels remember us that, like the sun, our inner flame - our spirit – is always prepared to give us heat, even in days of emptiness and pain. When we are connected with the gifts of the spirit - creativity, passion, imagination -, we are able to melt the snow of desperation and to discover the rest of life that were no dead, they were only waiting for the arrival of the spring.

 

 

To what extent you are in contact with your spirit? Do you effectively use the gifts of the spirit in your life? Can you identify what is that depresses or kills your spirit? Remember that angels are always there for waking up the inner fire and intensifying the flame that takes away the sadness and the fear, and radiates energy, passion and creative action.
