Hi Jeff, I think I don't understand, who are "they"? If you're talking about SugarCRM people, they write in PHP not in GeneXus.
GeneXus only generates/consume SOAP web services in an "autatically" way. I know they (Artech) are working/testing/playing with REST but I really don't know how or where they are. But, this doesn't mean you cant consume REST with GX, of course, you have to do all by hand with HTTPClient data type.
